How long does the review process take?

A typical review takes 2–6 weeks. An expedited review, for an additional fee, takes 1–2 weeks.

Can I choose which sponsorship model I use?

The application includes a short set of model-selection questions after the mission-alignment screening, which gives you a preliminary recommendation. Your final model assignment is confirmed during compliance review — the preliminary result is a starting point, not a guarantee.

What happens to my donations if my project ends?

Any unspent funds are handled under HydroHarvest's [missing glossary term: “variance power”] — redirected to another mission-aligned use if your project can't receive them directly. If your project completes its work successfully, this is a routine part of closing out; it isn't a compliance action.

Does HydroHarvest take a cut of donations?

Yes — HydroHarvest charges an administrative fee to cover the real cost of compliance, fund administration, and (for Model A) operational support. See our Fee Structure page for current rates.

Can a for-profit business apply?

No. Fiscal sponsorship is only available to projects operating for charitable, educational, or food-security purposes. See our eligibility checklist for a full rundown.
